January and February

January and February were full and overflowing with fun things, some big, some small, with some bittersweet mixed in. There were days to catch our breath, move slower and have family time. And then there were days that we wondered how we were going to reach around. A volley ball game with the youth.                                                 And the younger ones entertaining themselves.                       Of course we ended up at our favorite spot by the beach a few times. The boys were fascinated with the trees and leaves one morning and took a picture. Kelsey and I buying vegetables from our favorite vegetable stand. December

December was a fun month! We were invited to the school Christmas Carol service in our village. Usually our Sundays are busy at home with people in and out most of the day. But December had several Sundays that our normal visitors had travelled or were sick. The boys begged to go to the dam fishing. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time we were there. We came home by the ocean and stopped to watch the storm move across the ocean. Have I mentioned we love living near the ocean? So awe inspiring! It was so special to be included in the Salt Staff Christmas party one last time. These boys have so much fun together. December was unusually wet. It wasn't like rainy season but it was more rain then normal for December. While the children were on Christmas break we spent a day at the beach. It was such a refreshing day!
