After the busyness of the last several months, August was definitely quieter. Which was a good thing since we officially started school the first week of August. We had worked ahead in July in Math and Language, which I am sure we will be very thankful for at the end of the term. It takes a lot of the stress of having to keep up out of my life. A friend brought me sourdough starter awhile ago and Kelsey has taken it over from me. She loves trying new things. The road to our village has been a work in progress ever since we lived here. The humps and bumps have been a source of frustration and irritation but we have gotten used to them. Every year, one section of the road floods and all the vehicle owners in our village complain and then promptly forget about it in dry season when something could be done. The Ghanaian ambassador to Canada has a house in our village and she got the ball rolling to officially fix the road. They are putting gutters in and supposedly it will eventually ...
